Summary:
NYSE ARCA previously announced plans to reduce the number of ARCABOOK Equities MC channels from 10 to 4. After receiving feedback from many customers who were concerned with the amount of data that would be sent on each channel we determined we should continue to offer the 10 channel feed and launch a new 4 channel feed. This design will allow customers who want to continue with the existing feed to do so while also providing a high speed 4 channel feed for customers interested in it.
ARCABOOK users who wish to remain on the 10 channel feed will not be required to make any changes. It will remain as it is today with no IP or port changes.
The 4 channel feed will be launched on November 15, 2010. The feed source IPs and channels can be found on our NYSE Data website www.nyxdata.com/ipaddresses (click on the NYSE ARCA US tab on the page). We will conduct 4 channel testing on November 6 and November 13. Test details will be sent in a future notice.
