A higher standard for universal connectivity
In the high-speed world of global digital trade, the traditional method of accessing core utilities – such as trading systems and market data, through multiple, dedicated connections is thoroughly inadequate. Only a streamlined system that facilitates reliable connectivity across fragmented markets will suffice.
To address this need, NYSE Technologies drew upon its unique understanding of connectivity in the financial industry, combined with careful study of optimal technology and route diversity.
The result is our Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure® internet protocol (SFTI® IP), the new standard for reliability and resiliency in trading infrastructure. Not only is this purpose-built private network furnishing traders, brokers and market operators with a vastly improved single point of connectivity for low-latency trading across multiple asset classes in more markets around the world, but it is simultaneously helping to strengthen the integrity of capital markets themselves.
Range of Connectivity Options for Performance
SFTI® IP offers a choice of network connectivity options that connects customers directly to trading platforms and market data inside and outside of NYSE Euronext’s U.S. Liquidity Center at Mahwah, in addition to non-NYSE trading venues. Firms can select the bandwidth and connectivity method appropriate to their needs and add services as they change.
Customers can benefit from flexible direct or managed circuits at varying connection speeds (10Mb, 100Mb, 1Gb, 5Gb and 10Gb) at any of the SFTI® Access Centers and Proximity Hosting Sites in the NY Metro area and Chicago.
Customers can also connect to the SFTI backbone using:
